How one can Repair A Ceiling Fan Light
There are always small repairs to do around a house and occasionally they require just a little effort. If your ceiling fan light has gone out and you have determined it isn’t so simple as changing out the light bulb, likelihood is it is the pull switch to the light. You’ll have been dreading getting out the ladder, but as outside temperatures change, you may be wanting your ceiling fan and light to be working properly.
Things You’ll Need
Turn the electricity off to the sunshine at the breaker box. Your breaker box is usually in the garage, but some houses have them within the kitchen or hallway.
Remove the screws that hold the underside of the light fixture in place with a screwdriver. Typically, the fixture has three screws. It will expose the wiring.
Remove the light’s old pull-chain switch from the housing. Remove the 2 wire nuts attached to the old pull-chain switch and install the new switch, securing the sunshine back to the fan.
